Creating an Associated Content Goal
In a previous post here I mentioned that I write for Associated Content and average about $40 a month in page views. Well, there is a woman on the site that makes about $30 a day in page views. Yes. A day! She has 4,000+ articles. She hasn’t written in a year, but in that time she’s earned about $11,000. Very impressive supplemental income for not doing any writing for the site for a year. If she didn’t offer her stories to AC exclusively, she could also use them elsewhere to earn income.
As for me, I’ve only got about 180 so I’d have a long way to go before I hit 4,000. Still, it’s impressive to think I could make $30 daily in passive income for some fun lighthearted articles. I’ve decided to step up my AC during the summer. I’ve got other projects going on so I can’t move at the pace I’d like with this, but I need goal anyhow.
I’d like to make $50 a month within the next couple months. It’s not a major goal, but it’s a 25 percent increase. Perhaps I’ll start a goal chart to stay on task… after I figure out the number of articles I need on the site to reach this goal. A little promotion will work as well. That’ll be a part of the plan.
