Extra Income Goal

My journey to earning more extra income

Got my first investment property.

I closed on my first investment property last week. It’s a three bedroom, two bathroom brick ranch in the burbs. There’s a bonus room connected to the third bedroom so that’s a plus. And it has a finished basement.

I’m so glad to be done with the hunt and mortgage process. Now it’s on to the really hard work. Lol!

I’ve got a few things to do to get it ready to rent out including buying blinds for the windows, refinishing some door knobs and installing a couple light fixtures. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to replace the furnace now or wait. Decisions, decisions.

December is going to beĀ  a busy month for sure!

CashCrate Does Pay Consistently: My Check is on the Way

It’s been awhile since I’ve done some work on CashCrate, so I decided to do a few offers. I was on the cusp of meeting the $20 cash out threshold and I made it. I’ve got a check for $21.96 on the way. I still have a couple more dollars pending, but it’ll count toward my November earnings. I’ll post when my check arrives in the mail.

I posted about CashCrate in a previous post. For those not familiar with CashCrate, it’s a site where you can earn cash by signing up for offers and filling out surveys. It costs nothing to sign up and there are no fees to get paid.

If you’re interested in joining, I’d love it if you’d use my referral link.

Let me know if you have any questions about CashCrate, or anything else I’ve mentioned on this blog. I’ll leave the comments section open on this blog post. I won’t approve it for posting unless you specifically request that I respond via the posting. Otherwise, I’ll response to you via email.

My Thoughts on Promotional Modeling Jobs

Time to share another way to make some extra income- promotional modeling.

I’ve done some promotional modeling- marketing jobs in the past. I’m not model material by a long shot, but I think I’m cute with a friendly disposition. Lol. So don’t be intimated by the word “model” if you don’t fit that profile. There are a lot of campaigns that use regular everyday presentable people.

Promotional modeling jobs can include passing out products and giving away samples. The items you could hand out while marketing range from free bottles of water, to free t-shirts to blind taste tests. Yes, I’ve conducted blind taste tests. Very amusing. People are usually pleased to get free samples so that makes the job even more fun.

Anyways, if you’re interested in promotional modeling, contact a local promotion company or find a larger company via the Internet. They may require a head shot to keep on file. How much does promotional modeling, marketing pay? Promotional modeling pays an average of $15 to $35 an hour and jobs can last from a couple of hours to a whole day depending on the assignment.

You usually choose which promotional jobs you want to do so this is a perfect way to make some extra income in your spare time.
